A carriage house / garage that had seen better days on Virginia St. in Charleston. We converted both floors into a full apartments. We replaced the wood exterior trim with Azek pvc trim and repaired the plaster before refinishing the whole exterior. The new porch has a recessed hot tub, a fan and an enclosed storage area below. All the materials are either pvc or composite for low maintenance. An entry roof was added to give shelter while entering.

This rustic kitchen had never really been finished and didn't have much storage space within a modest size floorplan. Working with the clients to ensure they had everything they wanted, we designed and built a mahogany and curly maple kitchen which had much more space for everything.

This historic house had been neglected and then suffered a large water leak that went undetected for a period of time. The structure was stabilized, the roof replaced, and all new flooring was installed. The interior was carefully restored, including the period cabinets.
