When we first saw this 1908 ex rooming house, it was in need of tender loving care. It had seen some rough times and needed a caring owner. After finding the original blueprints, the owner had us put the original wrap around porch back on the house.

The foyer already featured some wonderful woodwork, so we tried to honor and complement it as we helped the owners coax the grand old house into a new life as a country inn.

We milled out 13 different cutters and profiles in trimming the old house out. Here, an existing dining room didn't have to change much for the new dining area of the inn. The door leads out to the spacious porch.

The small original kitchen was enlarged to handle some commercial equipment.

This amazing mirror was found elsewhere in the original house and moved to a strategic location at the top of the stairs.

Fitting out the Inn for all new bathrooms for each suite was a challenge. Here, the original single bath was kept intact and brought up to date with new "cold" fixtures.

Each suite has its own character. The inn changed hands and is now the home of the critically acclaimed Cafe Cimino Country Inn in Sutton, WV.
